Yes you heard your 6th grader right! We are planning our spring duct tape wallet project already. Each 6th grader needs to have a roll of duct tape by a certain date. We have not chosen a date yet...it will be in the spring...no worries yet.
Students can bring in any color or pattern of duct tape for this project. They only NEED 1 roll to complete the project, but can bring in more if they wish. Students bringing in their own tape on or before the due date will be rewarded for being ontime. The extra duct tape will be sent home at the end of the project with the student who purchased it.
Students who cannot or do not want to go out on their own to purchase a roll of tape need to put their name and homeroom teacher on a purchase list that I have on my desk before the due date. Students who have their name on the purchase list before the due date will be rewarded as well for solving their problem ontime. Students will be given a REGULAR GRAY roll of tape to complete the project and any extra tape will stay in the artroom after the project is completed.
